Welcome to part one of Crabapple gen. 2 college update. By part one I mean that I forgot all about posting for the 3rd Founder's Challenge this week and so only have time to upload a few pictures of the update. But I will add to this post rather than post a continuation of it, eventually. Things have been rough, computer-wise and life-wise, lately. 02) What was your dream growing up? to own a laptop, see fairies inside the irises where I KNEW they lived, live in a castle, and be a teacher. I know, I know.
03) What talent do you wish you had? either musical talent or the ability to finish anything.
04) If I bought you a drink what would it be? non-alcoholic: coke zero or some kind of coffee that doesn't taste like coffee. alcoholic: something with vodka in it that tastes like candy or fruit.
05) Favorite vegetable? i love vegetables in general. Let's go with...all of them.
06) What was the last book you read? "House of Winter" by Isobel Bird.
07) What zodiac sign are you? Aquarius
08) Any tattoos and/or piercings? Explain where. I have three piercings in one ear, four in the other, but I don't wear more than one pair of earrings at a time anymore. I also have a little "tattoo" of a dozen or so random ink dots on my thigh. I wanted to so see if India Ink really did give you a tattoo. The answer is yes. Sadly, I was old enough to know better at the time (17).
09) Worst habit? biting my nails, eating for the hell of it, finishing people's sentences for them (what can I say, I've always been good at dialogue in my writing.)
10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride? no
11) What is your favorite sport? coasting downhill on a bike (but not riding bikes in general)
12) Do you have a pessimistic or optimistic attitude? I am pretty cynical and also contradictory... I like to rain on parades and interupt pity parties all at once.
13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me? Look politely at the wall.
14) Worst thing to ever happen to you? umm... Dunno.
15) Tell me one weird fact about you. I often wake up with my lips all chewed up and chapped. I dream about my teeth alot, and when I do I chew the hell out of my mouth.
16) Do you have any pets? three dogs, a thousand barn cats, a chickens, and a pony.
17) What if I showed up at your house unexpectedly? I would be really confused and suspicious.
18) What was your first impression of me? Who are you? I stole this randomly from abbycat.
19) Do you think clowns are cute or scary? Criminal, not scary.
20) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be? I would have better skin, I guess. I could deal with the other stuff if I had luminous, perfect skin.
21) Would you be my crime partner or my conscience? depends on the crime.
22) What color eyes do you have? Green/brown/hazel
23) Ever been arrested? no, but I almost was once because I was wearing a similar outfit to that of a bank robber. Luckily, the bank robber was definitely male and I defintely wasn't.
24) Bottle or can soda? either. I'd even drink cup soda.
25) If you won $10,000 today, what would you do with it? pay off my student loans and buy a car. Or, not pay off my student loans and buy a car for me, my brother, and my sister, since we all need cars.
27) What's your favorite place to hang out at? wherever
28) Do you believe in ghosts? i think so
29) Favorite thing to do in your spare time? read
30) Do you swear a lot? sometimes. i love swearing.
31) Biggest pet peeve? when my mother asks me to help her with something but just lets me stand there waiting to recieve my assignment while she finishes doing something else. It drives me nuts.
32) In one word, how would you describe yourself? neurotic
33) Do you believe/appreciate romance? I don't know how much I believe in it's prevalence, but I appreciate it where I see it.
34) Favourite and least favourite food? favorite: stuffed peppers. or taco salad. Least favorite: umm....pork.
35) Do you believe in God? jury's still out on that

After a number of legacies being eaten by my game or being so annoying in one or another that I couldn't stand to play them, I finally present: The Damascus Legacy. Note: the picture quality will improve in later updates (though the size will likely remain the same).

I was creating some new townies (right now default face templates-making is too complicated for me and I haven't found any ones on the internets that I like, so I make all my townies by hand) and decided to make an alien one, to test an alien default skin. When I was about to save the family and go to the neighborhood, I realized all the humans were glaring meanly at the alien. Isn't that funny?

In other news, I will probably begin posting a new legacy or three sometime soon. After I lost the Drinkwaters I started a couple legacies and then stopped playing them because I had given the founders custom eyes and I hadn't gotten around to redownloading SimPE again, didn't want the eyes to carry throughout four or five generations, etc.... Anyway. Genetics are resolved and legacies are coming along.

So naturally the Drinkwater Legacy died at my incompetant hands, as did my other legacy, the Reinharts (never posted), who after ten gens were supposed to mingle with the tenth gen of Drinkwater and start a whole new legacy all on their own.... So. I started a new legacy, the Radcliffes, and while I haven't given up on them I doubt I'll ever post them because I hate their house and it makes me uninterested in getting to know the occupants.

SO.

I have started a NEW new legacy, one that I AM interested in. I like the direction the house is going, too.

I'm going to talk a little about this new legacy mainly for my sake.

The founder is Dawn Niwt. Niwt is twiN backwards... She is named thus because she is near exact replica of me (me if I was really cool looking and had wild-in-a-good-way hair, and wore red glasses, and wore my weight like Kelly Osbourne (fabulously)). I named her Dawn because it occured to me that Niwt sounded a little like "night". And when I was a really stupid and annoying seventh grader, I used "Dawn Nyght" (I know! Right? Ugh.) as my nom de plume. So. Since Dawn Nyght was my shadow self, Dawn Niwt shall be my Cooler Self.

I made her a knowledge sim mainly because they're easy, and as of yet there aren't any Crazy Dog Waiting to Die aspirations, or a Snuggle On A Comfy Couch Reading For My Whole Life aspiration. Knowledge comes close since they almost never have to move.

It's kind of creepy seeing someone who could my much cooler, thinner, more interesting older sister (or, in certains lights, even be ME) walk around doing things. I don't know. I had to aggressively separate myself from Dawn Niwt so I would stop thinking of her as ME. But now instead of loving "my"self I am jealous of her. Hahaha. Sometimes I hate this game. Lo(lolololo)l.
